Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 October 2026
These terms are between you and Stampdrop (“Stampdrop”, “we”, “us”). Section A applies to cafés and businesses that subscribe (“Café”). Section B applies to people who use a café’s stamp card (“End User”). By creating an account or using a stamp card, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.
Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the ACL or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited as set out below.
A. Café subscriptions
1. Plans and pricing
Starter: A$29 per month. Pro (multiple locations): A$39 per month. Prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. We will give at least 30 days’ notice of any price change, and you may cancel before it takes effect.
2. Free trial
New accounts receive a 30-day free trial. We will not charge you during the trial. If you add payment details, your subscription begins at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.
3. Billing and cancellation
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically. You can cancel at any time from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no further charges are made. Except where required by law (including the ACL), fees for a period already started are not refundable.
4. Your responsibilities
- Keep your login secure and give accurate account details.
- You set your loyalty program’s rules and rewards, and you are responsible for honouring rewards your customers earn.
- You are responsible for your own use of customer information, including compliance with the Privacy Act (where it applies to you) and the Spam Act 2003 for any marketing you send.
- Only upload logos, images and content you have the right to use, and nothing unlawful, misleading or offensive.
5. Your content and data
You keep ownership of your content and your customer data. You grant us a licence to host and display it to provide the service. You may export or ask us to delete your data; we delete it within a reasonable time after your account closes, unless we must keep it by law.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account for non-payment, fraud, misuse, or serious or repeated breach of these terms, with notice where reasonable.
7. Service availability
We aim for the service to be reliable but do not promise it will be uninterrupted. It depends on third parties including Cloudflare, Stripe, Apple and Google.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the ACL: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits or data), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Where the ACL allows, our liability for failure to meet a consumer guarantee is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of resupply.
B. End users
9. Stamp cards
Stamp cards are free. Each card is offered by the café named on it, which sets and is responsible for its rewards, conditions and any expiry. Stampdrop provides the technology only. Contact the café about rewards.
10. Fair use
Don’t copy, share, screenshot-share or tamper with card codes, or try to obtain stamps you haven’t earned. Cafés may refuse or reverse stamps obtained improperly.
11. Your card
You can remove your card from your Wallet at any time and ask us to delete it by emailing privacy@getstampdrop.com. Stamps have no cash value and are not transferable.
